There is a point in every winter evening when the children have energy and the garden is dark and wet. Everyone knows what happens next and it usually involves the sofa cushions.
The HopGlow LED Panda Jumping Ball is an indoor answer. An inflatable ball under a wide ring the child stands on, with a handle to hold and a band of colour-changing LEDs around the rim that light up as they bounce.
Panda, capybara, dog or plain black, and the animal head detaches so it works as a plain hopper too. A hand pump is in the box.

Why You'll Love It
💡 The Lights Are Why They Keep Going
The LED ring flashes through colours as they bounce. With the lamps off it is the best thing in the house, which is exactly the point on a dark afternoon.
🤸 Real Balance Practice
Standing on a ball and bouncing is harder than it looks. Coordination, core strength and a lot of laughing — this is the kind of exercise children do not notice is exercise.
🔇 Quieter Than You Expect
An inflated ball on a carpet absorbs most of the impact. It is considerably less noisy than a child running between rooms.
🐼 The Head Comes Off
Detachable animal top, so when they decide pandas are for little kids it carries on as a plain hopper.
🏠 Indoors Or Out
A hallway, a playroom or a patio. It only needs a ceiling higher than a jumping child, which most rooms manage.

🔧 Pump Is In The Box
Needle and hand pump included. It is ready in five minutes rather than needing a trip out for a bike pump.
👧 Grown-Ups Have A Go
Rated to adult weight, which is how every demonstration of one of these ends.
🎁 A Present That Gets Used
Big, bright and immediately obvious under a tree. No batteries to find on Christmas morning beyond the ones in the base.
🧘 It Burns Off The Evening
Twenty minutes of bouncing before bath time does more than any amount of asking them to settle down.
📦 Deflates For Storage
Let the air out and it goes flat into a cupboard between uses or for travelling.
Before They Jump On
Inflate it firm but not hard — a little give is what makes it bounce. Check the pressure every few weeks, as it softens over time.
Use it on carpet or a mat, away from furniture corners and glass. Children of this age bounce enthusiastically and not always in a straight line.
