There is a moment when a child works out that two magnets can push each other apart, and it genuinely looks like magic to them. Most magnet toys stop there. This one turns it into forty puzzles.
The MagnetMatch Floating Rings Puzzle is a weighted base, an upright post and ten coloured magnetic rings. Each card shows a pattern — some rings floating, some snapped together — and the job is to work out which way round each ring has to go to make it happen.
Twenty double-sided cards give forty challenges, from obvious to genuinely difficult. One box, no batteries, no screen.

Why You'll Love It
🪄 Rings That Float In Mid-Air
Stack them the wrong way round and they hover above each other on the post. It is the bit that makes a child call someone over to look.
🧠 Forty Real Puzzles
Each card is a position to recreate, and it is only solvable by thinking about which way each ring is facing. It is a logic game that happens to use magnets.
🔬 Physics Without A Lesson
Poles, attraction and repulsion, learned by hand rather than from a diagram. Children work out the rule themselves, which is why it sticks.
📈 It Gets Harder
The early cards take seconds, the later ones take a while. The range means it does not get finished and abandoned in one afternoon.
🔇 No Batteries, No Noise, No Screen
A quiet table toy for a rainy afternoon, a waiting room or the hour before bed.

👨👩👧 Adults Get Drawn In
The later cards are properly tricky. It is one of the few children's puzzles a parent genuinely has to think about.
🏫 Classroom Friendly
Teachers use these for primary science. It demonstrates in thirty seconds what a worksheet takes a lesson to explain.
📦 Everything In One Box
Stand, rings and cards together. Nothing to lose except the rings, and those are big enough to find.
✋ Good For Fidgety Hands
Even without the cards, children sit and stack the rings. It is a satisfying thing to hold.
🎁 A Present That Is Not Plastic Noise
For a birthday or a stocking, it is the rare educational toy that children choose to pick up again.
Playing It
Pick a card and copy the pattern by flipping the rings until it matches. If rings snap together when they should float, turn one over.
The magnets are strong, so keep them away from phones, cards with magnetic strips and anyone with a pacemaker. Not suitable for children who still put things in their mouths.
